Kenneth J. Pullen

Kenneth J. Pullen, age 58, passed away September 17, 2013.

Born in Logan, W. Va., he served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, and was a Sergeant with the Akron Police Department, retiring after 35 years of service. Ken was a hardworking and loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He enjoyed golfing with his police buddies, and vacationing on the beach with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Sharon; sons, Chris (Lisa) and Marc; grandchildren, Riley, Trent, Olivia and Allison; parents, Jim and Mary Lou Pullen; and brothers, Tim (Lori), Ricky and Randy (Janet).

Memorial service will be Sunday, 4 p.m. at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Brian Nutt officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time. At Ken’s request, cremation has taken place.
