Katie S. Ewing

Katie S. Ewing Katie Ewing, age 60, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2020. Born in Waseca, Minn., she graduated from Lafayette High School in St. Louis, Mo., and currently lived in Suffield Township. Katie was a dedicated mother and wife, and was a kindergarten teacher’s assistant for three years in Indiana. She loved dogs and working crossword puzzles, and passionately enjoyed gardening and flowers! Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon H. Stevens, Katie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ace Ewing of Suffield Twp.; son, Andrew S. Ewing of Fort Wayne, Ind.; daughter and son-in-law, Meghan and Casey Davies and granddaughter, Paige Katherine Davies of Brimfield Twp.; and sister, Trish Marwedel of Rio Vista, Calif. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2643 Waterloo Road, Mogadore, Ohio 44260 with Father Thomas Acker, S.J. presiding.
