Kathy Tobin, 58, went home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2023. Kathy graduated from Hoover High School, Class of “83”, and lived in North Canton until she was married. She then moved to Hartville and was employed by Lake Local Schools for 23 years. Kathy was an avid game player and loved spending time with her entire family. The youngest of seven children, she was the organizer of all social events. She was revered by her siblings, many nieces and nephews and of course her children.
She loved teaching. Kathy taught for 27 years. She spent countless hours after school, in the evenings preparing to deliver the best lessons possible. If you knew her, then she was your friend. She had a fierce spirit and zest for life.
Kathy was a gold award winner in the Girl Scouts and continued to meet with her childhood troop. She was blessed to have so many important people in her life. The world was a better place with our beloved Kathy in it.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kevin Tobin; son, Brady Tobin; daughters, Jaime Tobin, Holly Tobin and Wendy Tobin; mother, Dorris J. Hawkins; brothers, Scott (Fran) Hawkins, Kraig (Brenda) Hawkins, Kurt (Sandy) Hawkins, Kevin Hawkins; sisters, Kim (Rick) Cline, and Kris (Tim) McMaster.
