Karen P. Brooks

Karen (Westfall) Brooks, age 81, passed away on July 23, 2024.

Born in Akron, OH, she lived her life in Uniontown, OH. Karen graduated from East High School (1961). She worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 25 years. Karen was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Brooks; parents, Herman and Edna (Shumway) Westfall; and brother, Rodney Westfall. She is survived by her son, Steven (Amy) Brooks; daughter, Kathryn (Clinton) Young; and grandchildren, Lauren Brooks, Rebecca, Michael, and Mikayla Young.

Per Karen’s request, a private service was held with immediate family. The family suggests memorials be made to Grace United Church of Christ in Uniontown, OH, or the charity of your choice.
