June (Finney) Sweebe

June (Finney) Sweebe, age 95, passed away October 10, 2021, knowing the love of her two daughters and family was ever present. Born May 25, 1926 in Akron, she was a resident of Green, Ohio for 64 years. June enjoyed word searches, watching old tv shows and movies, drinking Pepsi and eating cookies, and spending time with her family, especially during cookouts. June was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Sweebe, and sons-in-law, Dave Killian and Robert Monk. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Monk and Marilyn Killian; grandchildren, Mary Ann (Philip) Schoenfeld, John (Michelle) Poston, James (Melissa) Killian, Christine Harden; great-grandchildren, Connor, Casey, Jade, Griffin, Gavin, Logan, Kylee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Mark Smith for providing support and care through a long, hard journey. Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 14th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Road (at Killian Road), Akron, Ohio 44312. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with Father Zachary M. Kawalec presiding. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church.
