June M. Berringer

June M. Berringer, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5th, 2024. She was born on July 15th, 1935 in New Kensington, PA.

She had a big heart for those in need, and God used her to reach out to many people who called her “Mama June”. She always loved serving others and making sure those around her were taken care of. While raising her children she also helped with delivering meals on wheels, driving bus for Chapel Hill Christian School, and taking neighbor kids to church. 

June had numerous hobbies such as traveling, reading, and shopping but her greatest joy was her family. She always put her family first and would do anything for them. She was a beloved wife, mother, and nana who will be greatly missed. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren meant the world to her and through them her legacy will continue to live on. 

June was preceded in death by her son, Timothy John; grandson, Michael Timothy Beltz; parents, Max and Effie Fleming; and numerous siblings. She is survived by her loving husband, John “Jack” of 69 years; her daughters, Beverly (William) Bragwell and Juneann (Rick) Beltz; grandchildren, Joel (Jennifer) Bragwell, Justin (Sarah) Bragwell, Jonathan Beltz; and five great-grandchildren. 

Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Uniontown (3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685), from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials be made to Aultman Hospice (2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708).
