Julia “Mimi” L. Miller (nee Stouffer), age 75, was reunited with her loving husband, James, on July 29, 2021. Julia was born in Pikeville, Tennessee and lived wholeheartedly for her family. She retired after 30 years of service as the Director of the Springfield Senior Center and was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 245. Her joys included getting together with family (especially at Christmas), spending a pleasant afternoon in her garden checking on her pumpkins, zucchini, tomatoes, and cucumbers, and catching up with family on the latest social media. Julia was a pro at snapchatting, Instagram, and Facebook.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Miller; and her brothers, Clark, John, and William Stouffer. Julia is survived by her daughter, Christine (Ralph) Mayes; son, James C. (Jacque) Miller; grandchildren, Riley, Shelby, and Carley; great-grandchildren, Declan and Addison; and brother, Larry Stouffer. In a family of 5 brothers she was Aunt Julia to someone!
Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home at 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312.
