Judy Ann Keister

On December 11, 2022, after a sudden but blessedly brief illness, Judy - 81, aka “Granny”, went to be with her Lord and Savior.  She was surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born November 7, 1941 in Pennsboro, W VA and moved to Ohio in her early childhood.  She lived in and around the Akron, OH area her entire life.  She spent the majority of her time, before retirement, caring for her family and working many clerical and administrative assistant jobs. Judy was a strong, no nonsense, Christian woman who loved God, her family and her many animals.  She was an avid gardener, enjoyed reading, Bible study and quilting.

Judy will be terribly missed by her family and friends.  She leaves behind her daughter Lorrie Just (Bill), sons Andy Creque (Lore) and Rob Creque.  Her grandchildren were the light of her life.  Alex and Libby Just, Emily Creque Danko (Dylan), Abby Creque and Robin Creque will remember times spent with their Granny at “the farm” and later at her home in Lakemore, OH.  Judy also leaves behind her brother, John “Mike” Keister, as well as a niece, several nephews and many great nephews.

A remembrance service and gathering of family and friends will be planned in the spring.
