Judith Lee Harwell

Judith Lee Harwell Judy Harwell, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2021. Born in Meadville, Pa., Judy was a graduate of East High School in Akron. She was employed as a floral designer at Country Spirit in Randolph for 25 years, and was also a cheerleading coach at Waterloo High School. Judy’s hobbies included scrapbooking, gardening and sewing. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, camping and shopping. Preceded in death by her husband, Ishmael Sterling Harwell, Judy is survived by her sons, Jeff (Rita), Todd (Elena) and Greg (Gail); daughter, Amy (Dennis); and grandchildren, Owen, Ted, Ty, Joe, Casey and Dawson. Private services will be held for the family with burial at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. The family suggests memorials to the Portage County Animal Protective League or the Alzheimer’s Association.
