Juanita Steele Carr Craft

Juanita Steele Carr Craft, age 87, went home to be with the Lord and her Dad on May 14, 2019. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, she raised her family in Coventry and was a member of East Liberty Church of the Nazarene. Juanita enjoyed reading Westerns, fishing and time at Berlin, winters in Florida, square dancing, and most of all spending time with her children and family. Preceded in death by her father, Charles Steele; father-in-law, William Carr I; husband, Lenny Craft; son, Rodger E. Carr; brother, Richard Steele; brother-in-law, William Carr II; and sister-in-law, Melvia Lint, Juanita is survived by children, Arden O. Carr II (Wendy Woodland-Carr), Patricia A. Filipowicz, Daniel G. Carr, Greg S. (Hannah) Carr and Pearl M. Carr (David Kashasha); grandchildren, Alex Carr, Elizabeth Reeder, Katrina Anderson, Daniel (Mary) Filipowicz II, Valerie (Jamie) Schmotzer, Misty Shaw, Eric (Erica) Carr, William Carr, Clayton (Kelly) Carr, Zachariah Zimmerman and Jacob Zimmerman; great-grandchildren, Nathan Chatman Jr., J’Lehn Reeder, Jeremiah Reeder, Joczlynn Carr, Talyn Carr, Zach Anderson, Abbagail Anderson, Seth Anderson, Faith Anderson, Darien Filipowicz, Gavin Filipowicz, Nathaniel Ferguson, Destin Taylor, Nickolas Shaw, Alexander Shaw, Tyler Carr, Thayer Carr, Xaria Carr; brothers, Jim and Bud Steele; sisters, Faythe Timms and Charlene Lautzenhizer; and dear friend and sister-in-law, Clara Carr. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Pastor Chris Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
