Joseph Paul Johnson

Joseph Paul Johnson, age 60, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2017. Born in Akron, he lived in Mogadore most of his life. Joe enjoyed his family and friends, Ohio State Buckeyes, and golfing. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen; and brother, Dan, he is survived by brother, Michael (Vickie); sisters, Susan Johnson and Marianne (Mike) Reder; sister-in-law, Joanne Johnson; and nieces, Vanessa (Dan) Prinzo, Alison (John) Batey, Lindsay (Derek) Hagman. He will be missed by other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Lynette. Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. A memorial luncheon will immediately follow the services for Joe.
