Jori Lynn Howley

September 30, 1991 — August 3, 2013

Jori Lynn Howley, age 21, passed away August 3, 2013, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Born in Akron, she lived in Randolph all of her life. Jori was a 2009 graduate of Waterloo High School, and attended Maplewood Vocational School, where she received the Leadership Award for her graduating class. She was a member of the Akron Turner Club, and a lifetime member of 4-H, where she enjoyed working with horses. Jori also enjoyed hunting with her father, line dancing at “The Dusty”, cheering, soccer and softball, and loved the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey team.

Jori is survived by her parents, Gary and Shellee Howley; sister and brother-in-law, Tia and Donnie Rambler; nephew, Hunter James Rambler, who was the light of her life; grandparents, Marge and Harold Thomas, Jerry Howley and Kay Bevington; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Graveside service and burial will be Friday, 11 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery, 1701 Hartville Road, Randolph, Ohio, with Pastor Shannon Blower officiating. Immediately following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Akron Turner Club, 547 Munroe Falls Road, Tallmadge, Ohio 44278, where the family will receive friends until 5 p.m.

It was Jori’s wish that any memorial contributions would be given to her nephew, Hunter James Rambler, in care of her parents, Gary and Shellee Howley. The Howley family would like to thank Jim and Dee Davis and Sandi McKenzie for their love and support during Jori and Mike’s journey.
