John Albert Wisener Jr.

John Albert Wisener Jr., age 44, passed away on May 26, 2024.

Born in Junction City, Kansas, he lived in Akron, Ohio. John was a graduate of Akron Springfield High School. His hobbies included fishing, gaming, and spending time with his kids. He enjoyed sports (Browns and Lakers), father and daughter dances, mom’s cooking, playing games with his friends, and he loved taking care of his family.

John is survived by his sons, Tyler, Devin, and Mason Wisener; daughter, Paige Wisener; his parents, Tammy (Bob) Carver, John (Lisa) Wisener; nieces, Laila Wisener, Madisyn and Elliana Marchand; nephew, Jase Wisener; brothers, Jason (Melissa) Wisener, Joshua and Fred Wisener; step brothers, Mike and Adam Carver; sister, Brittany (Drew) Marchand;  and step sister, Bethany Taylor.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 at 7:30pm, calling will begin at 6pm, at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
