John L. Kellar

John L. Kellar, age 53, went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2016. 

Born in Barberton, Ohio, he graduated from Ellet High School in 1982. John was employed with Ridgeline Construction and Laborers Local 310 for over 25 years. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond G. Kellar and mother, Anna Kellar Roberts, John is survived by daughters, Chelsea (Andrew) and Lauren (Josh); former wife, Crystal; future grandson, Harrison John; brothers, Dearreald (June), Martin (Shelly), Lawrence (Chris) and Dan Kellar; sister, Marilyn (Kent) Nestlerode; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visitation will be Friday, 4 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, where funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Donita Huffman officiating.
