Jodi Lyn (Parker) Shultz, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Jodi was born on March 14, 1969 to Anna Mae and Jim Parker in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Ellet High School in 1987. Jodi worked for 27 years at The Diamond Grille in Akron. She was adored by her customers, and continued to be lifelong friends with some of her coworkers. Jodi changed careers and began painting for Rock Solid Painting. Faith has always been part of Jodi’s life. She was baptized and confirmed in her family church, Bethany Lutheran Church, in Akron. She recently attended Five39 church in Akron. She accepted Jesus as her Savior, and found comfort in reading scripture.

Her greatest love in life and priority were her children. She was an amazing and dedicated mom, who adored her three children. Jodi also loved her dogs, and always had a dog by her side.

Jodi was loyal. She was an amazing mom, friend, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and wife. She was loved by so many. Jodi brought laughter and fun everywhere. She loved good food, bonfires, Snoopy, boat rides, fishing, vacations at the beach, animals, comedies, music, baking cookies, beautiful jewelry, and most of all spending time with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Anna Mae Parker (Peterson), grandparents Jim and Verna Parker, and Beaulah and Carl Peterson.

She leaves her children: Parker (and fiancée Liliana), Paige, and Danielle; husband, Danny Shultz; sister, Jill Linville (Wally); Father, Jim Parker; Father-in-Law, Dan Shultz; Mother-in-Law, Michele and Jim Hurr; Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, Brett and Kelly Shultz, Matt and Casie Shultz; Nieces and Nephews, Jenae Linville (Antonio Schembari), Jessica Linville, Ashley Shultz (Nick), Lexi Shultz (Robbie), Michael Shultz, Aaron Shultz, Matthew and Bernadette Shultz, and great nieces, Veda and Matilda.
