Jean Marie (nee Twyman) Montecalvo

Jean Marie (nee Twyman) Montecalvo, 77, passed away November 22, 2012.

She was born May 27, 1935 in Akron Ohio and was a resident of Mogadore for 53 years. Jean was an avid reader, knitter and sports fan.

Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter Montecalvo; parents, Lawrence and Catherine Twyman; and sister, Dolores Rehor. She is survived by children, Lynn (John) Rhoades, Steve (Judy) Montecalvo, Rick Montecalvo, and Leigh (Jeff) Summers; grandchildren, Jodi (Brent) Phelan, Kim (Alex) McDaniel, David Rhoades, Brandon, Courtney, Codey, Angela, Derek and Nicholas Montecalvo; great grandchildren, Anna and Cole Phelan, Adam McDaniel; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Street, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson celebrating. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
