Jean Conley

Jean Conley, age 80, passed away June 14, 2015 after a full life and a long illness. 

Born in Akron on March 10, 1935 to Vernon and Ida Watson, she was a loving mother and a strong woman in the face of adversity. Preceded in death by her beloved son, Chris Conley; her grandchildren, Mike, Matt and Rebecca; and her parents, she is survived by her children, Pat (Debbie) Conley, Theresa (Fred) McGinnis, Amy (Rodney) Graham, Julie (Billy) Bailes and Mark Conley; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was dearly loved by her nieces and nephews and everyone who knew her. Jean’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Pebble Creek and Harbor Light Hospice for their wonderful care. 

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mark Yacovazzi officiating. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S. Main Street, Suite 7, Munroe Falls, OH 44262. “Butterflies are free, and so is she.”
