Jason M. Savill

Jason Michael Savill, age 41, passed away at home on December 25, 2024.

He was born February 21, 1983, in Kansas City, MO. He spent most of his life in Lakemore, OH and graduated from Lake High School in Uniontown, OH in 2002. Jason proudly served in the Marine Corps from 2004-2009. He was an avid reader and gun collector. He loved to laugh and joke around and was known for his sense of humor. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Savill; his maternal aunt, Gayle Jackiewicz; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Anne Hoover. He is survived by his brother Jarrod Savill (Kathryn) of Morehead City, NC; nephews Jeremiah and Gabriel Savill, maternal grandfather, Bob Hoover of Akron OH; maternal uncle, Wally Jackiewicz of Akron, OH; Cousin Wendi (Matt), Matthew and CJ as well as other family members.

Friends and family will be received Friday, January 3, 2025 from 12-1 PM at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd, Akron (Ellet), OH 44312 with funeral to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
