Janet J. Gabelman

The most Loving, Understanding, Caring and giving Mother anyone could have ever asked for has passed away and gone to heaven to meet her mother, father, husband and sister. Mrs. Janet J. Gabelman passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 29, 2013 with children and family by her side to comfort her in her journey into heaven.

 Preceded in death by husband of 17 years, Richard; parents, Ersel & Myrtle Flint; sister, Glenda Flint; and great-granddaughter, Sariah Adkins. She will be missed by her four children, Denny (Sharon) Caplinger, Robin Keagle, Wendy (Richard) Grable, and her baby Joe Keagle (who is 42); sister, Barbara Bess; brother, Ron Flint; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She loved and cared for each of us in her own way because she knew that would make us happiest. She was and will always be the most devoted mother to her children and their wants and needs which always came first. We wish she would have made it to Hawaii like she always wanted, but she did go on an Alaskan cruise and a few others as well. We will everyday think of you and all you have given and sacrificed for our futures. We will show you how much it means to us by doing our best for you every day.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Rev. Lewis Willis officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 12 noon Tuesday until service time.
