Jane T. Spring (nee Keenan)

Jane T. Spring (nee Keenan) “NeNe”, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on March 10, 2015.

She was born in Akron, and attended South High School. Jane was employed with Ohio Prestwick Country Club for 24 years, and was a member of Manchester United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included shopping and crocheting, and she enjoyed vacationing in Florida and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jane Keenan; husband, Richard D. Spring; and mother-in-law, Lida Chapman. She is survived by daughters, Patricia Gharky (Dale) and Kathleen Barker (Dennis); son, Richard N.; grandchildren, Denise Gharky, Jennifer Baumeier (Kevin), Rocky Barker, Ashley Dunwald (Doug), Natalie Burcaw, Richard D. Spring II (Elizabeth), Walter N. Spring II (Anna), Samantha Boyd (Ron), Michele Spring, Courtney Skabr (Braden), Harry C. Spring II and Keenan B. Spring; and 24 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.), where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor James P. Nolte officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron.
