James Dale Taylor

Dale Taylor, 80, passed away January 9, 2013 after a short illness.

Born in Cabot, Pa., he lived in the Akron area most of his life. Dale served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and was employed with Lamb Electric. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Dale is survived by his sisters, Virginia McKay of Randolph and Joan King of Bristol, Ind.; nephews, Larry, Dennis, Rodger and Randy McKay, and David Morrison; and nieces, Sue Bryk and Lisa Owens.

Funeral service will be Friday, 12 noon at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, OH 44312 with Pastor Joshua Schoon officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S.
