James F. Korenz

James F. Korenz, 76, passed away November 7, 2023.

Born in Akron, he was a resident of Uniontown. He graduated from the University of Akron and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed HAM radio, 3D printing, geocaching, and biking.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. and Pauline Korenz. He is survived by his brother, Richard M. Korenz (Celeste); nieces, Calista Edinger and Kathrine Immel; great-nephews and niece, Liam Caldwell, Wade Robert Edinger, Estelle Mae Immel.

Family and friends will be received Friday, November 17^th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hopkins Lawver UNIONTOWN Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue), Uniontown, Ohio 44685. Funeral mass will be held Monday, November 20^th at 10 a.m. at Nativity of The Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd. Akron, OH 44312.
