James L. "Jimmy" Kirk

James L. “Jimmy” Kirk, age 55, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2016. 

Born in Akron, he resided in Brimfield, Ohio and was employed by Uniontown Septic for 17 years. Jimmy enjoyed bowling, golfing and riding his motorcycle. Preceded in death by his father, James “Bud” Kirk; and brother, Paul Wilson, he is survived by his loving wife, Shelley; mother, June; children, Ian and Hanna; stepchildren, Paige and Jake; granddaughter, Charlie; sister, Tari Wilson (Ed Greitzer); brother, Jeff Wilson; aunt, Elizabeth “Betty” Wagner; nieces and nephews, April, Paul, Dawn, Josh, Justin, Ashley, Kayla, Aaron, Jade, Ritchie, Tristan and Ethan. 

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 18 at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Brian T. Nutt officiating. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
