James "Jim" R. Cole

James “Jim” Cole, 86, went home to be with the Lord on December 13, 2021. 

Born August 13, 1935 in Akron to the late Alvin and Elda Cole. Jim was preceded in death by daughters, Victoria and Vivian; grandson Joey; and brother, Marion. He is survived by his loving wife, Wilda, of 58 years; sons, Jim Jr. and David (Melissa); daughters, Ruth (Bob), Peggy (Mark), Iva (Jim), Judy (Jim), Wanda (Bob), Denise (Jim), and Tracey (John); 26 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; brother, Charles; and sisters, Betty, Dorothy, and Beverly. Jim retired from Walco Truck Equipment and was an avid trailer builder for many years. 

Friends and family will be received Saturday, December 18th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd. Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, with a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m.
