Jacqueline A. Hodges

Jacqueline A. Hodges, age 78, formerly of Akron, passed away April 15, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

Jackie was born to Harold and Ruth Fruth (deceased), and joins older brother, Donald in death. Jackie leaves behind to mourn her husband of 60 years, Marshall; son, Russell (Sarita) Hodges; daughter, Susan Hoover; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Becky) and Jeremy (Jacque) Hoover, Angela (Dennis) Kooles, and Kurt Jackson; and nine great-grandchildren. Jackie also leaves behind sisters, Dorothy Tharp and Carolyn Richards, brother, Robert (Marty); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie’s family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of Autumn Health Care for the wonderful care that our mother received. Also thanks to the staff on the CC Unit at Good Sam for making our mother’s passing comfortable.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12 to 2 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. Graveside services and burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
