Iva Mast, age 73, of Hartville, Ohio and currently residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on November 7, 2021. She loved sewing and cross-stitching. Iva was a faithful member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
Iva was the daughter of the late John and Alma (Schlabach) Wittmer and wife to the late John Henry Mast. She was a loving and caring sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her seven children; five daughters and two sons: Elsie (Dallas) Martin of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Melinda (Ron) Burke of Aurora, Colo.; Rachel (Mast) Erdie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mary Ann (Bobby) Sands of Canton, Ohio; Carolyn Mast of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Robert (Amanda) Mast of Vanleer, Tenn.; and Jason Mast of Hartville, Ohio. Also left to cherish her memory are 14 grandchildren: Michaela Burke, Joseph and Christian Erdie, Caleb and Alex Diaz, Chyenne and Dyllan Sands, Brandin Williams; and Connor, Kelsey, Aubrey, Rylan, Heidi and Kendrick Mast. She is additionally survived by three great-grandchildren: Chloe, Serenity and Adalyn Malone; two siblings, Martha (Marvin) Miller of Mifflinburg, Pa. and Edna (Elmer) Yoder of Hartville, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, a host of cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Henry Mast; brother-in-law, Stephen King; and her parents.
Visitation will be held at the Cornerstone Community Chapel at 1250 Edison St NW, Hartville, Ohio 44632 on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. Services will be held at the same location on Tuesday November 16, 2021 at 10am. Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Hartville, Ohio.
