Isabell A. Ashby

Isabell A. Ashby, 92, passed away November 10, 2012 after a long illness.

She was born in St. George, West Virginia, lived in the Akron area the past 70 years where she was employed with LeWalts Laundromat and the Burger King on Canton Road.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer W. in 1983; she is survived by her sons, Stephen W. (Christine), and Dale A., of Akron; granddaughter, Karen (Steve) Shirey) of Indianapolis; grandson, Steve M. of Akron; and great grandchildren, Liz and Joe Shirey. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Alma, Linda and Chuck and also to Dr. Mark A. Smith.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Reverend Diane Shirey officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until service time.
