Irene Louise Poe

Irene Louise Poe (nee Moore), 82, passed away May 19, 2013.

Born in Barberton to Pearl and John Moore, she was an accomplished dancer and had her own dance studio. Irene was a lifelong lover of flowers, birds and Frank Sinatra. She sewed beautifully and made many of her own clothing. B. F. Goodrich was lucky enough to have her services as secretary for 25 years.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Jean (Jim) Baltes, son, Greg Poe; granddaughter, Megan (Matt) Johnson; grandson Will (Cayli) Baltes; great grandson, Matthew Johnson; and sister, Nancy (Paul) Hall. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore, Ohio 44260 with Pastor Karen Hartley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
