Holly Ann Milush “HAM”, age 54, went home to be with the Lord and her family November 27, 2015.
Born in Akron, Holly lived in the Mogadore area most of her life and graduated from Mogadore High School. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was very creative, especially during the holidays and with family gatherings. Holly made life fun with all the many ways she changed and decorated her home and yard. She loved her “fur babies”, Mickey, Gryffin, and Bo, and many others she cared for throughout her life. Holly was a courageous fighter, her faith in God was strong and she continued to keep that faith through all the years she was ill.
Holly was preceded in death by her step-father, Keith Briner; grandparents, Gilbert & Mona Griggy; aunt, Gene Moore; and father-in-law, John J. Milush, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jay; son, Ryan; daughter, Ali; mother, Marilyn Briner; father, Harry Moore; mother-in-law, Shirley Milush; brother, Brian Moore; sisters, Kristi (Wade) Smith, Terri Moore, Michelle (David) Reese, and Tina (Luis) Ramos; step-brothers, Brook (Paula) Briner, and Tom Briner; step-sister, Julie Estes; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2580 Berne Street, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Father Michael Williamson presiding. Procession will originate at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Mogadore.
