Helen C. Hackathorn

Helen C. Hackathorn, 82, passed away on November 18, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Helen was a member of Uniontown United Methodist Church where she enjoyed working with the United Methodist Women’s Group. She loved to read, travel, cook and entertain for her family, friends and Elm Grove neighbors. She took great pride and joy in raising her four daughters with her husband of 58 years, Hack.

Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence A. “Hack” Hackathorn, she is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Cliff) Boone, Bonni (Frank) Kern, Paula (Brook) Briner and Holly (Thomas) Marchese; and her grandchildren, Dana, Chelsea, Frankie, Marissa, Lexi and Doug.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685, where the funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Uniontown United Methodist Church, 13370 Cleveland Ave. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685.
