Hazel A. Pack

Hazel A. Pack, age 94, went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2014.

Born in Barnesville, Ohio, she was a homemaker all of her life. Hazel was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Uniontown. Her family was most important in her life. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and caring for her flowers.

Preceded in death by her husband, Homer, after 73 years of marriage; brothers, Herb, James and John Butler; and sisters, Zelma Calvin, Belva Castello, Mary Bowman and Alice Hillard. She is survived by son, Homer Jr. (Patty); daughters, Jean Karl, Vera (Bob) Jackson, Kathy West, Joyce (Bill) Jenkins, Rosemary (Brady) Baker and Vicki Pack (Dino Shephard); 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Beulah Barker.

The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Chaplain Tammy Marks officiating.
