Gordon T. Price

Gordon T. Price, 81, went peacefully into the arms of the angels with his family by his side on April 1, 2013.

He spent his entire life enjoying the outdoors. He was a hunter, golfer, and an avid fisherman. He retired from Akron Standard Mold in 1994 to fulfill his lifelong dream to fish every day. Most weekends he could be found on a lake doing what he loved most. He was a family man who unselfishly took care of his wife, Laura and was always there for every member of his family when duty called.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; son, Shawn (Angel); daughters, Diana (Greg) and Cathy (Leo); grandchildren, Jamie, Gregg, Jessica, Jillian and Sydney; great-grandchildren, Josh, Tiffany, Ryan and Becca; brother, Buddy; and many friends. He faithfully played the Ohio lottery with the hope of a big win that he intended to share with his entire family. Our family lost one giant of a man and heaven gained a winner. Rest in peace, Pops.

Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting condolences be sent to the Ohio Wildlife Fund, 2045 Morse Rd., Bldg. G, Columbus, OH 43229.
