Glynda F. Orman

Glynda F. Orman, 64, joined her husband in Heaven on October 8, 2012.

Born in Kentucky, she lived in Hartville most of her life, and retired from GenCorp after a 29-year career as a legal secretary. Glynda was an active member of the Community Baptist Church of Tallmadge where she held the position of church moderator. She was active on the East High School Class of 1965 reunion committee. Glynda was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Terry; and brother, William “Wig” White, she is survived by daughters, Heather (Jim) Chapman and Amanda (Michael) Marzich; grandchildren, Jason and Sydney Chapman and Alana and Drew Marzich; parents, Thomas and Thelma White; brother, Wayne White; sister, Sharon Brewen; sister-in-law, Patricia White; and many dear friends.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, 7 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, with Pastor Kevin E. Slyh officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until service time on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church of Tallmadge, 274 N.
