Geraldine Landenberger, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2015.
Born in Suffield, Ohio, she lived in the Mogadore area most of her life. Geraldine was a member of Springfield Church of the Brethren, and was Past President of the Tallmadge/Akron/Mogadore Garden Club. She was also very proud to work at the Board of Elections.
Preceded in death by her husband, Willis G; son, Willis C.; and grandson, Michael, she is survived by sons, Dale E. (Robin) of Bolivar, Keith (Patty) of Mogadore and Kevin J. of Mogadore; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, David (Joan) of Texas; and sister, Alice Kengott of Mogadore.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Avenue, Akron, OH 44312 with Pastor Kris Hawk officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. The family suggests memorials to the church.
