Gerald Paul Segerlund

Jerry “the Cat” Segerlund, 88, went home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2024.

Born in Akron, he graduated from Garfield High School. He served in the Army National Guard and was employed as a golf equipment salesman for 40 years. Jerry was a member of The Chapel and enjoyed golfing, vacationing to Las Vegas, and listening to his scanner. He loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as playing as much golf as possible.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Pearl Segerlund, and sister, Elaine Segerlund. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia Segerlund; daughter, Julie Feld (Mark Crabtree); grandchildren, Brandyn Feld (Caiti), Shannyn Feld, Nathan Lauro (Mark), Stacey Allgeier (Greg), Kait Crabtree (Kimmo); great grandchildren, Kensley, Aria, Madi, and Amelia.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, March 12^th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron,
