George Francis Davis

George Francis Davis, 83 years, passed away May 5, 2013.

He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and had lived in Washington, D.C. where he attended Gonzaga High School. George graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in engineering. He enjoyed computers, science, math and studying the architecture of buildings and bridges. George was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Archibald and Elizabeth; brothers, Archibald and James. He is survived by children, George and Donna; grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer), Frances, and Rocio; special niece, Dina; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 164 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44303 with Father Joseph H. Kraker celebrating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until mass time. The family suggests memorials to the church.
