George A. Burian

George A. Burian, DDS, 80 years, passed away peacefully at his residence May 20, 2012.

He was born in Stow, Ohio to the late George J. and Helen Burian. Dr. Burian was a dentist in Ellet for over 35 years, He served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. George led a very active life enjoying golf, the arts, painting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary; daughters, Ann (Michael) Bradley, and Nancy (Matthew) Pianka; grandchildren, Andrew and Mary Bradley; sister, Ethel (Ed) Benedict; brother, Joseph Burian; and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 10 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Tim Temerson officiating. Burial to follow at Northfield-Macedonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
