Geneva J. Corrigan

Geneva J. Corrigan, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Easter morning, April 20, 2025.

Born in Rockland, Ohio to the late Dale and Margaret (Hayes) Brooks, she was a longtime resident of Uniontown. She graduated from Central Hower High School and married her husband, Royle, on March 28, 1953. Geneva was a member of the Green High School PTA and enjoyed her puppies, traveling, camping, and crocheting. Her family was her greatest joy and she took pride in raising her family and watching her grandchildren grow.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Loretta, Mary, Shirley, Dale Jr., Artie, and Jim (of Pocatello, ID). She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Royle F. Corrigan Jr.; children, William (Lori), Sheryl, Kenneth, Kevin (Coreen); 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, April 26th from 12 to 2pm at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will begin at 2pm with burial to follow at Greenlawn Uniontown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org).
