Gary Michael Kisamore, age 51 of Suffield, passed away October 25, 2016 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Born on November 30, 1964, he was the fifth child of Allen and Donna Kisamore. He was a 1983 graduate of Field High School. Gary married Linda (Crouse) in May of 1992. They built a beautiful life together in Suffield and had two boys, Kyle and Ryan. Gary was very proud of the hardworking, intelligent young men they have become and loved Linda with all of his heart.
Gary worked as an Operator for H.M. Miller Construction Company for 31 years. He was also proud of his own business, Gary’s Deer Processing. He and his family processed deer for many area hunters. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; scoring many large deer, fish and turkey throughout his years.
Gary could make anything grow and loved gardening and farming. Even through his recent battle he found a way to keep moving and raised his best garden yet this year.
Gary was very hard working, always finding something that needed to be done. A 4-H member during his youth he instilled the love of 4-H into his sons, putting in countless hours of work to ensure that his boys performed well with their animals. He was a master of walking a pig while drinking a beer. The family dog, Lily, and Gary were incredibly close, they would do everything together. He had a tough, quiet exterior but was kind and selfless in so many ways. He will be deeply missed.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Donna (Adorni) Kisamore. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda (Crouse); sons, Kyle and Ryan; father, Allen Kisamore of Suffield; brothers, Jeff (Valerie) Kisamore of Suffield, Rick (Susan) Kisamore of Atwater, Kevin Kisamore of Suffield; sister, Deb (Lane) Willhite of Portage Lakes; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Gary also thought of Eric Rolenz as a son. His family would like to thank Dr. Mark Smith and his staff for all their help.
