Freda M. Dye (Robinson)

Freda M. Dye (Robinson) Freda M. Dye, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2019. Born in Akron, she was a proud resident of Ellet for her entire life, graduating from Ellet High School in 1947. Freda retired after many years from Valley Savings & Loan. She was an avid reader, liked to travel and was very proud to have donated many gallons of blood to the American Red Cross. Above all, Freda loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Paul E. Dye Sr.; and grandson, Kyle T. Flege, Freda is survived by her children, Karen (Ronnie) Rowe, Julie (Tom) Flege and Paul Jr. (Tara) Dye; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathan) Jones, Ryan Rowe (fiancée, Tracy Stewart), Leah Flege (Ronnie Karl) and Drew, Gavin and Sarah Dye; great-grandchildren, Logan and Tyler Jones and Wyatt Karl; brother, Ralph (Middy) Robinson; and sisters, Sylvia Hajba and Carol (Gary) Wilder. Freda’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Sue Meyer and the staff at GentleBrook for their exceptional care. Friends and family will be received Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, where Funeral service will be held Friday, 11 a.m. with Pastor Dave Bogue officiating.
