Frances M. Jordan (Abell)

Frances M. Jordan (Abell), age 81, passed away October 15, 2016. Born in Knottsville, Kentucky, Frances lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was employed with General Tire as a payroll accountant and was a member of Our Lady of Victory. Frances loved golf, bowling, vacationing and touring with her husband Don. Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Don; sisters, Barbara Perry and Anna Shaw; brothers, J.D. Abell Jr. and David Abell; she is survived by her son, Michael Fankhauser; grandchildren, Sarah Fankhauser, Jeanette Johnson and Elizabeth Bralish; four great grandchildren; and many loving family members of her husband Don. Friends and family will be received Thursday, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be Friday, 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
