Frances A. Gougler

Frances A. Gougler, age 98, passed away January 6, 2019. Born in Wendell, Idaho, Frances lived in the Mogadore, Ohio area most of her life. She graduated from Mogadore High School in 1939 and was employed with B.F. Goodrich and retired from the Village of Mogadore. Frances was a member of the Christian Women’s Fellowship with Mogadore Christian Church, Mogadore Garden Club and Mogadore Historical Society. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Dee; and sister, Jessie Shumaker; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Gloria. Special thanks to Joyce Anthony and family for their love and assistance over the years, Greenview Assisted Living and Crossroads Hospice. Family and friends will be received Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver MOGADORE Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), Mogadore, Ohio 44260. Funeral service will immediately follow Friday, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Mogadore Historical Society, 135 S. Cleveland Ave., Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
