Faye Beryl Tyrrell (Stanfill)
Faye Beryl Stanfill was born to Ethyl Baird and Kelly Stanfill in Elk Valley, Tennessee on August 17, 1925. Faye came to Akron at one year of age and remained a lifelong Akron resident, where she was married to William F. Tyrrell in 1944. Faye and Bill were together for 43 years until Bill’s passing in 1988. She was employed with the United States Postal Service.
A fiercely loyal and devoted friend to the many kind souls who knew her, Faye committed her life to serving the Lord and she was one of the dearest, sweetest and kindest souls among us. Ever positive and filled with faith in the Lord, Faye was loved by everyone who knew her and was an example to us all as she put everyone else in her life before herself. God was very good to Faye in her final years by way of her “Guardian Angel” Robert (Bob) Vrbanac who gave to Faye everything that had been missing in her life. He was a dear friend to her.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; and son, William F. Tyrrell Jr., Faye is survived by her grandchildren, William F. Tyrrell III and Rhonda L. McCune; great-grandson, Michael Alan McCune; and daughter-in-law, Candace C. Tyrrell.
The Lord called Faye home to be with Him and freed her of her earthly bonds on August 5, 2019. We are joyful she is with God now but are terribly saddened at losing her. It is those of us left behind who continue to suffer now. We will miss you, Faye but we will rejoice in God’s love when we are reunited one day.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312, where Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of Rest.
“He will see us through to the last mile of the way”.
