Everett Leland Warren

December 5, 1921 — January 10, 2013

Everett Leland Warren Everett Warren, 91, went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2013.

He was born in Akron and attended the First Church of God in Tallmadge and The Chapel. Mr. Warren was a graduate of Garfield High School, and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company with 39 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Anna Warren; his wife of 54 years, Louise; and son, Ronald. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne (Marsha) of Akron, Dale (Jayne) of Doylestown, Gary (Debbie) of Santa Cruz, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Diana of North Canton; grandchildren, Ronald (Kathy), Scott, Tricia, Wendy (Scott) Cole, and Madison; four great-grandchildren; and Geraldine’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Everett’s family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Pebble Creek, Heather Ridge, and Western Reserve Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.

Funeral service will be Monday, 2 p.m., with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, Uniontown, OH 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Avenue) with Pastor Lynn Warner and Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Burial will follow at Greentown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chapel Deacons Fund, 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304.
