Eva L. Heft

Eva L. Heft Our loving mother, Eva L. Heft, born on August 12, 1931, passed away on April 29, 2016. 

Eva was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. and raised on the Ohio River near East Liverpool, Ohio. She was the eighth child of Catherine and Charles Mercer. Preceded in death by husband, Henry (Bud) Heft; and grandson, Clifton H. Cutlip, Eva’s life was her family: children, Kenneth (Dianna) Heft, Carol Manthe, Sandy (Darrell) Coontz, Bob (Betty) Heft; eight beautiful grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Valdez of Houma, La.; two brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. 

Eva’s family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the workers at Heritage Villas, 911 Pittsburg Avenue, North Canton, Villa 4. You are awesome. Also to Crossroads Hospice, thank you for your kindness and caring for our mother. 

Friends and family will be received Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m.; and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312. Funeral service will be at the funeral home Tuesday, 11 a.m. with Brian Suntken officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
