Emma Grace Brewer

"Together Again" Emma Grace Brewer, age 82, went home to be with the Lord August 13, 2016.
Born in Weeksbury, Kentucky. Emma was a longtime Akron area resident. She retired after 25 years from Edwin Shaw Hospital. Emma’s hobbies were word search and card games, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and cooking for family gatherings.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joe; and granddaughter, Tabitha McKenzie; Emma is survived by her sons, Joseph and Bryan Brewer; daughters, Kathy Brewer and Audrey (Ray) Cross; grandchildren, Priscilla (Roy) Adams, Britney (Austin) Kirkbride, Joseph “JJ” Brewer and Christel (Shane) Durbec; great grandchildren, Sophie Adams; Katrina and Thomas Durbec.
Per Emma’s request, cremation has taken place.
