Elizabeth Louise Flanders (Gromley)

Elizabeth Louise (Gromley) Flanders, age 101, passed away on December 23, 2020. Born in Indiana, Pa., she lived in Suffield, Ohio most of her life. Libby owned Mogadore Furniture for over 40 years and was a member of Truth Baptist Church in Atwater, Ohio. She enjoyed playing the piano for her church, which she faithfully did until she reached age 100. Preceded in death by her husband, Samuel “Roy” Flanders in 1987, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Hutchison of Brimfield; grandchildren, Ryan Hutchison of Kent, Wanda Hutchison of Stow, and Paul (Lisa) Hutchison of Kennesaw, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Aaron Hutchison of California, Kayla Hutchison-May of Kent, Brice Hutchison of Akron, and Brett, Brian and Bethany Hutchison of Kennesaw, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30th at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road (Route 91), Akron (Ellet), Ohio 44312 with Pastor Roy Teague officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service, from 9 to 10 a.m. Masks and social distancing protocols will be observed. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
