Elizabeth C. Wise

Elizabeth C. “Betty” Wise, age 95, passed away January 18, 2014.

Born in Kent, she was a life resident of northeast Ohio, living in Suffield for the last 45 years. Elizabeth was a member of the Sweet Adelines chorus.

Preceded in death by her children, Nancy, Forrest and Martin, she is survived by her husband of 75 years, Harry A.; sons, David L. of Brooksville, Fla., and Harold J. “Jake” (Sandra) of Suffield; daughters, Jennie Wasmire of Gainesville, Ga., and Cori (Randy) Schrader of Orrville; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Eldon (Jean) Garrett of North Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260 with Pastor Rick Serbin officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday.
