Eleanor R. Ross

Eleanor R. Ross, age 74, passed away April 4, 2015.

 Born September 27, 1940 in Lakemore to Edward and Kathryn (Butler) McBee, she was an area resident all of her life. She enjoyed painting, going camping and quilting and loved being with her family, especially at cookouts.

Preceded in death by husband, David; sisters, Doris, Nellie and Ruth; she is survived by sons, Gregory L. (Sue) and Steve (Sandy); daughter, Roxann Ross (David – deceased); grandchildren, Greg Jr., Jason, Sarah and Angel; many great grandchildren; sisters, Margie Vossos, Frances Williams and Maxine (Dwayne) Wilkes; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, where funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., with Pastor Bill Howe officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
