Edna K. Spaugy

Edna K. Spaugy, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on February 5, 2015.

Born in St. Paul, Pa., she lived most of her life in the Mogadore area, and was a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. Edna’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; grandson, Chuckie; great-granddaughter, Angel; son-in-law, Howard Fahrer; sister, Doris Deist; and brothers, Bill Bodes and Johnny Teaters. She is survived by her son, Bill (Andrea); daughters, Donna (Larry) Provance; Brenda Fahrer, and Paula (Chuck) Magenau; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jim Deist; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Road, Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Cremation has taken place, and per Edna’s request there will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorial contributions to Lakemore United Methodist Church, or Mogadore Fire & EMS, 135 S.
